Our standard gemstone tiles are square and range from 3/8" x 3/8" to 12" x 12". Other shapes and dimensions of gemstone tiles can be custom-manufactured if required.
Solid gemstone tiles can be cut to various sizes and almost any thickness, limited only by the rough gemstone's dimensions. The maximum size of a solid gemstone tile normally is 8" x 8" (204mm x 204mm). Some gemstones, e.g. Malachite, will only allow solid gemstone tiles of 2" x 2" (51mm x 51mm). You will find the maximum sizes for each individual gemstone tile in our price lists. The thickness of our standard gemstone tiles is about 6mm for small sizes and 7-8mm for the larger dimensions.
Mosaic gemstone tiles are slightly thicker than solid gemstone tiles. The mosaic gemstone pattern is laminated to a base of ceramic, man-made stone, marble, granite, aluminium or to a matt. Mosaic parts can be manufactured in almost any sizes, shapes and designs making them the ideal choice for sinks, countertops and other bathroom interior. Checkerboard gemstone tiles can be manufactured with any combination of two or more gemstone-types.
